Automation International Ltd has been in business for over 35 years.
Since 1988, AIL has been dedicated to one goal: Bringing technology leadership automation products to the Latin American market.
Our History
AIL was founded by a former General Electric International Sales and Marketing Manager experienced in factory automation. His twenty plus years of experience working in conjunction with, and in competition with every major automation supplier in the world provided an insight to what the very best automation technology products really were.
He found that most of the best technologies were not from the major “full line” companies but from smaller “high technology” specialist manufacturers that had little or no exposure in Latin America at that time. Thus the concept of AIL was born, a full service marketing and distribution development company that would bring these leadership products to Latin America working in conjunction with local distributors and systems integrators throughout the market.
